This is an active crossover and subwoofer processor in a single rack unit frame.  It's a mono unit with a pair of subwoofer outputs, all balanced inputs and outputs.  I've tested this unit with a variety of professional and consumer cabinets and was impressed with the control and overall lack of coloration and boominess.  Even with the controls at extreme positions with very bass heavy program, this box does an beautiful job, particularly the limiter section.  Operation is fairly intuitive especially for anyone who has operated an electronic crossover.

 The rear panel XLRs function as follows:

There is also a  pair of banana jacks labelled Amplifier Return.  I don't have any information regarding these jacks or their application.
